Sometimes the problem is not with the iPhone but with the Router itself. Try restarting your Router, then connect your iPhone to the WiFi network again to see if the device is connected to the network stable.
Once turned off, you should wait 10 seconds before turning the router back on again to make sure that the power is completely discharged and the memory is cleared. This ensures that previous settings on the Router will be reset.

If rebooting the router doesn’t solve the problem, think about a solution to upgrade the router’s firmware. This not only helps to increase the performance of routers but also eliminates bugs that appear in older versions.

To turn off WiFi network service, go to Settings> Privacy> Location Services> System Services> Turn off Network & Wireless Connection.
This method does not disable WiFi completely, it only affects the location where the WiFi network is on. However, try it as it might be one of the ways to solve the network problem on your iPhone.

If the WiFi speed on your iPhone 12 becomes sluggish then it’s likely because the ISP’s DNS server is having a problem. We can try switching to using Google DNS, Cloudflare or OpenDNS to see if it fixes the problem.

On the Settings app, go to WiFi. Select the WiFi you are connecting to and press the “i” on the right. Scroll down and select Configure DNS, change it to Manual Select add a server and enter the address of the desired DNS (Google DNS, Cloudflare, or OpenDNS).

The WiFi Assist feature on iOS allows the device to automatically use mobile data when the WiFi connection is poor. However, some users believe that turning this feature off and on again improves some WiFi connection errors.
To disable this feature, open Settings> Cellular> scroll to the bottom to turn WiFi Assist on and off again.

If the methods above fail to fix the problem then the last solution we can try with that iPhone is to reset it. But first, back up important data to iCloud to avoid data loss.
Do this by going to Settings> General> Reset> Erase all content and settings.
